My absolute FAVORITE Dishes. Click on Photos for Recipes

Appetizers
My two favorite starters. Each could be served with every entree.

Prawn Cocktail

Dingle Bay Prawns on a bed of Lettuce with Moran’s seafood sauce.

Pint of Chips

Oven baked seasoned with special blend and served with gravy

Soups
These are my go-to soups that I have perfected over the years. They are served in many restaurants in Ireland.

Vegetable Soup

Served with brown bread or milk bun.

Seafood Chowder

Fresh and Smoked Seafood served with brown bread.

Entrees

This is a collection of main dishes that have had a great response from my friends and family. I like to keep my recipes traditional with an American twist.

Irish Stew

Tender chunks of beef and vegetables in a rich sauce

Sausage and Mashers

Grilled sausage served with buttery mashers and onion gravy

Sirlion Steak

10oz steak on a bed of onions and mushrooms with chips and salad or vegetables and potatoes

Sammies

My sammies are special because they are both unique. When I decide to make a sandwich I like to try unusual combinations that taste great together. These two sandwiches are a crowd favorite when I serve lunch to friends and family.

Veggie Sandwich

Roasted red peppers served with melted mozzarella and homemade pesto

Smoked Salmon Sandwich

Served on soda bread with red onion jam and capers.

About Me

I'm Shane and I like to cook. My day job is all about technology. At night I like to unwind by cooking delicious meals. I am Irish so most of my meals are influenced by my grandmother's cooking. I like to call it Irish-American fusion.  This blog is just for me to talk about my passion and share some recipes that I'm trying or that are a hit! Feel free to email me if you have questions about the recipes.
